Talent par ci, talent par l\u00e0. Son utilisation est parfois abusive, notamment lorsqu\u2019il remplace le terme \u00ab comp\u00e9tence \u00bb.<\/p><p>Il est indispensable de comprendre ce que recouvrent ces 2 termes, et les limites de leur usage.<\/p><p><strong>Aux origines du terme \u00ab talent \u00bb : USA encore et toujours !<\/strong><\/p><p>La 1\u00e8re apparition remonte \u00e0 la fin des ann\u00e9es \u201990. Un papier du cabinet McKinsey intitul\u00e9 \u00ab La guerre des talents \u00bb avait fait grand bruit lors de sa publication au c\u0153ur de la bulle internet. Il pr\u00e9disait le combat f\u00e9roce \u00e0 venir, des organisations et des employeurs, pour s\u2019accaparer des ressources humaines rares sur le march\u00e9 et indispensables \u00e0 leurs croissances soutenues.<\/p><p>Depuis, le terme \u00ab guerre des talents \u00bb a \u00e9t\u00e9 un peu galvaud\u00e9. Avec effet garanti en le pla\u00e7ant au bon endroit au cours d\u2019une conversation sur des sujets RH ou manag\u00e9riaux !<\/p><p>Mais cela ne dit pas ce qu\u2019est un talent. Aptitude particuli\u00e8re ? Don ? Singularit\u00e9 extraordinaire ?<\/p><p>Cette d\u00e9finition emprunt\u00e9e \u00e0 un auteur est int\u00e9ressante : \u00ab le talent pourrait s\u2019entendre comme une aptitude naturelle \u00e0 faire, se comporter, penser ou ressentir d\u2019une fa\u00e7on propre \u00e0 chacun.e, comme une signature singuli\u00e8re \u00bb.<\/p><p>Mais de fait, tout le monde serait dot\u00e9 de talents, ou serait \u00ab un talent \u00bb, puisque chacun fait certaines choses bien naturellement, sans toujours en \u00eatre conscient, et qu\u2019il.elle est seul.e \u00e0 faire de cette fa\u00e7on\u2026<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p><strong>Des diff\u00e9rences claires entre \u00ab talent \u00bb et \u00ab comp\u00e9tence \u00bb<\/strong><\/p><p>Si le talent est une pr\u00e9disposition naturelle, il ne grandit pas pour autant en restant les bras crois\u00e9s. Exceller dans SON domaine de pr\u00e9dilection requiert donc entra\u00eenement et pratique volontaires. Demandez aux joueurs d\u2019\u00e9chec ou aux sportifs de haut niveau !<\/p><p>Alors en quoi le talent diff\u00e8re-t-il de la comp\u00e9tence, puisque la comp\u00e9tence est quelque chose que l\u2019on d\u00e9veloppe \u00e9galement ?<\/p><p>La diff\u00e9rence r\u00e9side pr\u00e9cis\u00e9ment dans le fait que savoir-faire une chose bien (\u00eatre performant dans cette chose ou ce domaine), peut parfois \u00eatre atteint au prix d\u2019une d\u00e9bauche d\u2019\u00e9nergie laborieuse et \u00e9puisante. A l\u2019inverse, la mobilisation du talent booste litt\u00e9ralement et fait vibrer. Et peut donner l\u2019impression de facilit\u00e9.<\/p><p>Dans un de mes pr\u00e9c\u00e9dents postes, j\u2019avais d\u00e9velopp\u00e9 de bonnes comp\u00e9tences en techniques de financement et de budg\u00e9tisation de projet de d\u00e9veloppement. Mais ce n\u2019\u00e9tait clairement pas une activit\u00e9 qui me \u00ab mettait en \u00e9nergie \u00bb. Elle m\u2019en consommait par contre pas mal. A contrario, le talent, que j\u2019emploie aujourd\u2019hui \u00e0 \u00e9couter et comprendre, lors des interviews et des rencontres, les parcours et projets professionnels des dirigeants et des managers pour mes clients me met dans une bien meilleure \u00e9nergie, avec le sentiment d\u2019apporter le meilleur de moi.<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p><strong>Avantage pour les employeurs<\/strong><\/p><p>Pour l\u2019employeur, arriver \u00e0 d\u00e9tecter chez les employ\u00e9s ou les candidats, CES talents qui sont utiles \u00e0 SON entreprise pour SON projet de d\u00e9veloppement, c\u2019est capitaliser sur des atouts inestimables. Evidemment c\u2019est loin d\u2019\u00eatre ais\u00e9, puisqu\u2019on est dans une approche de compr\u00e9hension individuelle et singuli\u00e8re de la personne. La notion de talent en plus des notions de performance et de potentiel inclue la notion de \u00ab valeurs d\u2019entreprise \u00bb, puisque tous les talents ne sont pas identiquement valoris\u00e9s dans tous les contextes ni dans toutes les entreprises.<\/p><p>Des contextes professionnels qui favorisent l\u2019activation des talents permettent litt\u00e9ralement aux employ\u00e9s de d\u00e9ployer leurs ailes, d\u2019\u00eatre naturellement dans cet \u00e9tat d\u2019enthousiasme qui permet de pers\u00e9v\u00e9rer sans que l\u2019effort d\u00e9ploy\u00e9 ne soit charg\u00e9 n\u00e9gativement, de mobiliser beaucoup plus de cr\u00e9ativit\u00e9 pour la r\u00e9ussite de projets.<\/p><p>Imaginez les b\u00e9n\u00e9fices quand l\u2019employeur, en plus de payer l\u2019employ\u00e9 pour faire ce pour quoi il est dou\u00e9 et que ce qu\u2019il aime, et que cet objet rejoint \u00ab ce dont le monde a besoin \u00bb (sens et contribution) \u2026 ! L\u2019employ\u00e9 se retrouve dans ce flow permanent o\u00f9 il a trouv\u00e9 son Ikiga\u00ef (concept japonais qui pourrait se traduire par \u00ab joie de vivre \u00bb et de la \u00ab raison d&rsquo;\u00eatre \u00bb.)<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p>En conclusion, prendre le temps de l\u2019observation pour identifier les talents sp\u00e9cifiques de chaque employ\u00e9 et se poser la question de sa meilleure utilisation, quand c\u2019est possible dans l\u2019entreprise, est un conseil qu\u2019on ne se lassera pas de donner.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Il ne vous aura pas \u00e9chapp\u00e9 que depuis quelques ann\u00e9es, le vocable \u00ab talent \u00bb tr\u00e8s \u00e0 la mode dans le vocabulaire manag\u00e9rial.
